Floors - DONE!
The floors are totally done, but you can't see them very well because we have them covered with "stuff" so the painters can do their job starting tomorrow.

Stay tuned for painting progress pictures. All the local family will be here next Sunday for Mother's day. We will try to put each room back together immediately after it's painted (and dry) so we don't have to do everything on Saturday. I think it's gonna be a busy week.

Flooring looks BEAUTIFUL. A lot of work -- but pretty exciting to see it all done. I actually like the 'putting it all back' part.

Oh, and Happy Painting Week. I showed GOUB just now, and now he wants to paint some of our walls. I'm game!

WOW! Looking good! When all is said and done, this mishap may be looked on as a positive REHAB of your home. Something not necessary enough to make a priority with all else going on in a family but as long as it happen you two seem to making the most of it.

If it were me...Mother's day would be out some park. Who wants all those 'Mothers' messing up your newly remodeled house?
