Report I did (probably in Junior High School) about the conqueror (or hero, or something) of Bolvia in South (Central?) America - We enjoyed pronouncing the name in Spanish something like "See Mon Boe Lee Var" with an emphasis on Mon and Lee.
Do I get a prize? Good long term memory, rotten short term memory.

VERY Good! I thought it was at Hillcrest.
As I recall, you were seated when called upon to do your report. You remained seated and said 'See Mon Bo Lee Var', stood up and said 'See Mon Bo Lee Var' then walked over to the blackboard and said (what else?) 'See Mon Bo Lee Var'.
We're planning a Panama Canal cruise (16-days) and looking at excursions in Cartagena, Colombia and see Bolivar this and Bolivar that -- which reminded me of your VERY DRAMATIC opening.....
Not sure why, but my long term memory says my report was on Water Sheds?
