Sunshine, crack of thunder, 7-minute downpour so sudden the sun didn't even have time to run -- back to sunshine with no rain.

Beautiful. Downpour here too but the foreground of our view is weeds and trees. :o(

How come your front door view is in color and back door (i.e. your next post) is in black and white?

Front door shot was actually taken for Sylvia's SatScenes. Then later saw the big fella and had been fooling around with the camera and it was set on black and white -- I didn't want to waste time resetting -- just shot away. Bear has been spotted by neighbors on either side of us plus one in front of us actually had him come onto his back deck and take down his bird feeder. He returned 3 nights in a row.

Yep, if those guys discover a treasure -such as a bird feeder filled with yummy stuff- they'll return often to see if someone has refilled it for them.

Dan (next door) puts out water for the deer and that's where he saw the bear. The ol' watering hole.
