Looks like serious work! Hope they figure it out quickly and you can be back to normal.

Er, what are all the plastic sheets for? I thought fumigating for a moment but settling sounds more serious!

The home is a 'manufactured' home. Meaning it was built elsewhere and hauled (in two pieces - around 18' X 71') to our property and placed on a concrete foundation we had built here (with the plumbing/electricity/cabling preinstalled). The two pieces had to be attached (it took them about 7 days). This all happen last June. Since then the two sections have 'settled' and it left a crack down most of the middle of the house along the ceiling. They came in this week to repair the crack, re caulk/stucco/paint the 'marriage line' between the two pieces.

…a separate crew has come in to fix the floor which also ‘settled’ since the installation. This ‘settling’ caused a shift such that you could feel a difference (slight) in height between the left and right (or front and back) section. Once that is complete to our satisfaction, we then have to deal with a third crew/manufacture to correct the floor covering (an ‘upscale’ vinyl) that has ‘wrinkles’ in it due to the settling. Thus far, no additional cost to us, just an inconvenience. :o(

Ceiling seam repaired and covered with a board so we won't see it if is shifts a bit.
Floor joist set back in place so floor is even.
We are waiting on the floor covering folk to see what they need to do to smooth out the wrinkles and who is paying for it.
