Very cute! Kyle was actually lobbying Katie to pick "Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" as her birthday dinner, but instead she requested baked salmon, white rice, and veggies for her birthday dinner tomorrow.
If one doesn't like the 'rump' in rump roast, it goes without saying anything with 'tail' would be out! I like things that aren't called what they were when they were up and running. That's all. Simple rule (I do allow some exceptions). Hamburgers, fine. Tongue, out.
Adorable pic. Funny string of comments. I don't think I even ate salmon til I was in my 20's. Katey is an alien from a far away galaxy. (I would know) :)

What a grown-up birthday dinner choice. I think I choose Ox-Tail Soup once...can you imagine? I was probably just trying to upset my brothers =)

Actually I remember Ox-Tail soup quite fondly. A delicacy as I recall. It has been years since I have had any. :o(
Given that my sister doesn't eat Rump Roast because of the word rump in it, I would guess Ox-Tail is off her list of eatables now-a-days too. :o)
Happy Birthday Katie! (I would have chosen Der-Weinerschnitzle (sp?) Chili cheese dogs!
